The IEDC of John Cox Memorial CSI Institute of Technology proudly presents DroneXcel, a capacity-building workshop on unmanned aircraft systems and drone technology. This hands-on program is organized in association with NIELIT Calicut and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India. The workshop will run from October 27th to 31st, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM in the Seminar Hall. Participants will gain valuable technical expertise and skills in the rapidly emerging field of aerial innovation.

On January 9, 2025, the IEDC of John Cox Memorial C.S.I Institute of Technology in association with Mechanica'24-IIT Madras and Top Engineers, hosted a successful "One Day Seminar on Latest Trends in Engineering." The event, held in the JCMCSIT Seminar Hall, featured distinguished resource person Dr. Prabhakar Sekar, COO of Top Engineers - India. Dr. Sekar shared invaluable industry insights with attendees, successfully bridging the gap between academia and the current engineering landscape.

The IEDC of John Cox Memorial C.S.I Institute of Technology successfully hosted the Garuda Aerospace 2K24 Collaboration Workshop, an intensive Drone Pilot Training program held from August 29th to September 8th, 2024. This hands-on workshop provided students with a comprehensive introduction to aerospace technology and practical flight operations. Participants gained invaluable real-world skills and received a government-approved certificate, marking another successful initiative in bringing industry-relevant training to our campus.

The IEDC of John Cox Memorial CSI Institute of Technology successfully conducted "AUGMENTX," a hands-on Augmented Reality workshop on February 14, 2025. This immersive program was organized in association with Rigtlabs Collective and Zilicon Technologies Pvt Ltd. Held from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM in the Seminar Hall, the workshop provided students with practical training and deep insights into the rapidly evolving field of AR technology.

On March 21, 2025, the IIC and IEDC of John Cox Memorial CSI Institute of Technology hosted the college-level APJKTU Startup Cell Idea Pitching Competition. Held in the Seminar Hall, the event allowed 1st and 2nd-year students to present innovative ideas like "Resq Link" and "Handicapped Electric Vehicle." Selected teams get the chance to compete at the state level for a fundon opportunity of up to ?2 Lakhs from the KTU Startup Cell.

The IEDC of John Cox Memorial CSI Institute of Technology successfully hosted an "Inter College Workshop on Prompt Engineering" on November 23, 2023. The session, held in Seminar Hall 1, was expertly led by Mr. Rohit Krishnan M, a Technical Consultant and Senior Business Analyst. This workshop was a featured event of the "Tech Nexa Fest 2023," drawing participants from various colleges. Attendees gained valuable insights into this cutting-edge field and were awarded KTU Activity Points and certificates.

On August 24, 2023, the IEDC of John Cox Memorial CSI Institute of Technology hosted a dynamic, hands-on workshop on Mobile Robotics and its critical role within Industry 4.0. Held in Seminar Hall 1 from 9:15 AM to 4:00 PM, the program was designed to bridge the gap between theory and practice. The workshop combined informative lectures with practical lab sessions where students actively built and programmed their own robotic systems. This event successfully equipped participants with valuable, real-world skills in a cutting-edge field of technology.

The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre (IEDC) of John Cox Memorial CSI Institute of Technology successfully organized "STARQUIZTREK-2023" on November 26, 2023. A key highlight of this event was an engaging "One Day Workshop on Cyber Security," which ran from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM. The workshop was expertly led by Mr. Jose Hormese, a Cyber Security Analyst from Fidius Software Pvt Ltd. This insightful program was conducted by NIXIE_BYTES and powered by the Riglabs Community, offering students valuable knowledge in a critical tech field.
